Our History
Mayhem Mechanical opened its doors for business in January of 2020. Although Mayhem Mechanical has only been open for business for three years, we are a fourth generation, family-owned and operated, company. Kenny Dillon, the owner, began working for his father-in-law, Randy Roberts, at BC&M Climate Control in 1995. Kenny says that if it wasn’t for Randy taking a chance on a young man who didn’t even know what a thermostat was, he would not be where he is today. Before Randy owned BC&M, his father-in-law John Bonner, owned the company. In 2020, Kenny’s dream of entrepreneurship became a reality when he opened Mayhem Mechanical after years of planning. . Kenny is a very present owner – he deals with all day-to-day functions and manages his employees daily. Whether Kenny is dealing with a huge commercial contractor or the family that lives down the street, every customer gets treated with the same level of attention and urgency. Randy leads Mayhem Mechanical everyday as the Install Manager. Kenny’s wife, Melanie, and children also work at Mayhem Mechanical in various roles. Above all, Kenny is a Christian man who puts God first. His favorite bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him and he shall direct your path.”
